The challenge
Small hospitality venues often present themselves almost entirely through social media, while visitors searching for a place to eat or drink want the basics at a glance: menu, hours, location, and what other guests say. The goal was to show how far a fast, focused website could carry a venue's identity without heavy tech behind it.
The solution
Three bilingual concept sites built with Astro and TypeScript. Rigani presents a chef-driven restaurant through its story, signature dishes, and press mentions; Fragias pairs its menu with FAQs and guest reviews; ALTERRA covers a beach and cocktail bar with its catalogue, pool details, and opening hours. All three are fully static, load fast on mobile, and stay privacy-conscious beyond the embedded Google Map.
Feature highlights
- Three venue concepts — Rigani, Fragias, and ALTERRA
- Bilingual Greek/English pages covering menus, stories, photos, and directions
- Guest reviews surfaced on-site, plus press mentions for Rigani
- Privacy-conscious setup — no analytics or tracking cookies beyond the Google Maps embed
- Fully static Astro builds tuned for mobile-first browsing
Outcome
Three complete website concepts demonstrating how local restaurants and bars could present themselves online — presented openly as design work, not official client commissions.
